Dear friends and loyal supporters of the St. Jude/Brian Bush Putt-For-Life: 

Once again we are honored that you have set aside the last Saturday in July to help my family and friends raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the Brian Bush Memorial

Putt-For-Life.  Thank you for helping us raise $30,000 in 2010!    Over the last 22 years, we have raised a total $462, 000, with all the money going directly to St. Jude for cancer research and to fight other catastrophic diseases with their lifesaving research and treatment.  

Our theme for the 2011 St. Jude Brian Bush Memorial is “Don't let Cancer Strike out the Children.”   Will, a young St. Jude patient, will be playing baseball this summer because of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s innovative game plan for treating cancers like medulloblastoma brain tumors. Enclosed is a St. Jude “baseball card” of Will, who is playing baseball again this summer three (3) years after being sidelined with a deadly brain tumor.  So please put it up on your refrigerator and be proud that you are improving the survival rates of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.   By supporting St. Jude, which shares its research, protocols, and knowledge freely with the medical community, you are also supporting our children and medical institutions right here in Grand Rapids!
